All MBBS aspirants would be waiting for NEET UG 2022 counselling which will be held very soon. This counselling will be divided into two categories, All Indian counselling and State level counselling. Students must have information about all the medical institutes and the availability of seats in their state.
Here, this post will be beneficial for UP MBBS aspirants who are waiting for state counselling for NEET UG 2022. The state-level counselling will be held on 85% of the state quota seats and there will be three rounds including the first round, the second round and the third round (also known as Mop up round). The seats left vacant in the first and second rounds will be carried forward to the mop-up round.
Eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh (UP) NEET Counselling 2022
Let us understand the eligibility criteria for admission to government & private MBBS colleges in India.
The Medical aspirants who belong to Gen/EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category are required to score 50 percentile and the candidates who belong to OBC/SC/ST category are required to score 40 percentile in the NEET UG Exam.
If we talk particularly for the year 2022, the marks needed to become eligible are as follows:

NEET Counselling process is divided into 3 rounds:
Round 1 – It is conducted in online mode and all government/private/deemed medical universities’ seats can be filled in this step.
Round 2 – It is also an online mode and here also all government/private/deemed medical universities’ seats are filled in this step. This round is almost similar to the first round but with a little difference. Basically remaining vacancies in the first round are carried forward to this round.
Mop-up round: It is also conducted in online mode. It is about filling unfilled seats in NEET counselling during round 1 and round 2 steps. A student automatically becomes eligible for this round when he/she doesn’t get a seat in round 1&2. The mop round is a step in which state-by-state counselling for medical seats takes place.
UP NEET Counselling Document Verification
All medical aspirants have to carry the required documents for the verification process. If any candidate is found ineligible to show the documents at the time of verification, his/her candidature may be disqualified. The list of documents is mentioned below:
- Allotment Letter issued by MCC
- Admit Cards of Exams issued by NTA.
- Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
- Date of Birth Certificate (in case DOB is not mentioned in the metric certificate)
- Class 10th Certificate
- Class 10+2 Certificate
- Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
- Domicile Certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Character certificate
- Migration letter
- Fee payment receipt
- Eight Passport size photographs are the same as affixed on the application form.

- The Candidate should also bring these certificates, if applicable: SC / ST Certificate, OBC certificate, Disability Certificate, EWS Certificate. These certificates should not be older than 6 months.

- For NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities documents mandatory are Passport copy of the sponsored, embassy certificate, Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsor is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study), Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

NEET counselling registration 2022
MCC conducts the NEET UG counselling to fill all India quota seats and state level seat in two rounds followed by a mop-up round. The simple steps for registration are mentioned below:
- Registration with all necessary details and generate password
- Visit the official website of MCC
- Click on the “New Registration” Tab
- Put your Roll Number, Application number and candidate name and all the required details.
- Set your pin as per your admit card
- Login
