Kharkiv National Medical University or KNMU is one of the oldest medical institutes in Ukraine. It was founded in 1805 and earlier recognized as Kharkiv Medical Institute. It has given numerous skilled doctors and medical practitioners to the world in its 216 years old legacy.
The university got national status in 2007 and was renamed Kharkiv National Medical University. It is accredited by various organizations such as WHO, NMC, and many more which give it the status of one of the best international medical institutes of Ukraine.
The university believes to provide balanced education with theoretical as well as practical knowledge and this is the reason that students from all over the world prefer to study medicine from KNMU. Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Study in Kharkiv National Medical University
- Candidates must complete his/her 17 year age by the end of the respective admission year.
- 50% marks in 12th (PCB) for general category candidates and 40% marks for reserved category candidates
- NEET Qualifying scorecard which should not be older than 3 years

To pursue the MD Physician course from KNMU, the candidate will be engaged for 6 years of the program. The exact duration is 5.8 years but it is commonly known as 6 years MBBS course.

How to reach Kharkiv National Medical University?
The student will take off via international flight from Delhi to Kharkiv. The total distance is 4140km and the flight will take around 14 hours to travel including layover time.
After reaching the Kharkiv airport, a college representative will receive you and will make all the arrangements to reach the university campus. It is only 2.7 km away from the airport and takes only 10 to 12 minutes.
