University of East Sarajevo, Foca was established in 1993 with an aim to create quality medical professionals who can face the complicated treatment challenges in the medical industry. The doctors who gained knowledge and developed their clinical skills in the university have been contributing to improving the health care system in Bosnia & Herzegovina as well as surrounding countries in Europe. This contribution is the greatest recognition and pride of the institute.
In order to make the General Medicine course (MBBS) for international students, we introduced the study program in the English language and implemented English as a key instruction language so that it becomes suitable for all students globally.
The university offers 6 years of medical course that is equivalent to MBBS and covers all the subjects that are taught in government and private medical colleges in India. The university campus has Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing faculty, and has a scientific research center for biomedical science called “The specialist Dentistry center” which was established in 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Abroad
Age – 17 years of age by 31st December in the year of admission
NEET- Qualifying scorecard (Not older than 3 years)
12th – 50% Aggregate in PCB (General Category)
40% Aggregate in PCB (Reserved Category)
