Omsk F. M. Dostoevsky State University usually referred to as Omsk State University was established in 1974 and found in the city of Omsk, Russia.
The University is counted among one of the largest medical universities in Siberian region and the whole of Russia.
OmSU today is annually in “ top 100 best Universities of Russia” and the best university in Omsk
The University has also been awarded with GOST R ISO 9001-2008, as all the educational activities conform the quality standards set by Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity.
The university has nine main buildings, scientific library and 20 educational laboratories with special equipment.
Clinical Departments of the University are positioned in the largest municipal hospitals equipped with modern diagnostic facilities with up-to-date information technologies, and teaching procedures are being continuously improving.
International activity is well-developed at the university which lets students and teachers undertake internships abroad and lets foreign students take part in exchange programs.
Presently there are 55 agreements with universities in CIS, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, China, Portugal, Czech Republic, and many more.
The university is also a part of the Erasmus+ programme, offering students the opportunity to study abroad.
The university has graduated more than 10,000 students and maintains ties with universities in The UK, Germany and the USA.
