Ternopil State Medical University
Ternopil State Medical University is a well-recognized institute for higher education in Ukraine. It was founded in 1957 and is situated in Ternopil city of Ukraine. The university was named after a famous chemist and politician of Ukraine “Ivan Horbachevsky”
The chronological history of Ternopil University; It received the status of State Medical Academy in 1997 and in 1994 the institute received IV level of institutional accreditation. Moving forward on the path of success, it added the department for the specialty of Nursing in 1995 and specialty of Pharmacy in the year 2000.
TSMU has more than 50 departments offering a wide range of courses for undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the medical stream. The university has been providing academic excellence results for years due to which it has become one of the best medical universities in Ukraine and the most preferred choice for international students. The institute has a huge library in which more than 4 lakh copies of scientific research and study material are available for the students.

12th – 50% marks in PCB for General category
40% marks in PCB for Reserved Category
NEET – Qualifying scorecard which should not be older than 3 years
Duration of MBBS in Ternopil State Medical University
The entire course will take around 5.8 years of the program with 1 year of internship. The MBBS/MD course may take around 6 years in some cases if the exam gets delayed due to some reason.

The hostel fee is optional from the 2nd year, hence it is not included in the above fee structure. Similarly, the Food charge is also not included because some students prefer self kitchen cooking facilities in their rooms.
