The National Test Agency has started the registration process for over 16 lakh NEET aspirants (Expected). As per the official notification, the NEET UG exam is going to happen on 17 July 2022. The information related to eligibility criteria, registration process, application fee and other details are included in the information bulletin released by NTA.
Eligibility criteria NEET-UG 2022
AGE: The applicant must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission before 31st December of his/her admission. There is no upper age limit. The authorities have already released a notice regarding the upper age limit for NEET-UG 2022
Citizenship: NEET exam is not only open for Indian students but also for NRI students of India who are willing to study MBBS in India or from any foreign medical institute. They will also be required to qualify for the NEET exam.
Qualification: Candidate must have qualified class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board. General category students should have at least 50% marks and reserved category students should have a 40% score in higher secondary school
Candidates who have qualified Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board will be eligible for NEET.
Steps to register for NEET-UG 2022?
- Open the NTA official website for NEET UG 2022 exam registration
- Fill up the personal and academic details
- Uplocate the scanned copy of required documents
- Choose the exam centre
- Pay the registration fee using the online mode
- Take a print of the confirmation page for future reference
Note: NEET UG exam is held to fill the medical, dental, veterinary, BSc nursing, BSc life science and AYUSH seats.
